An excerpt from The Fivefold Vow of the Rebel8er by Mike Giant
This is a really powerful message and this is one of the many reasons I really respect and admire Giant and his work. I already adhere to certain parts of this, but there are definitely other parts that I could and (I feel like I should) work on.
Thanks for the inspiration Mike.

This is another post-show picture from the other night. This is me and @reebm, one of the singers/guitar players for Code Orange Kids. It was my first time seeing them live and to say they were intense would be an understatement. I’m surprised there was a stage left for letlive. and ETID to play on. I wasn’t a huge fan before (although I definitely enjoyed their stuff), but their live show definitely changed that. I can’t wait to see what comes from them in the future. #codeorangekids
This is me (not looking anywhere near as bad as I felt) with @jordanetid after last night’s show. Every Time I Die, letlive., and Code Orange Kids were incredible. It was possibly the best show I’ve ever been to. The energy was crazy, the excitement was tangible, and all the bands put on killer sets. Thanks JB for being a cool dude, and thanks for the picture Kate. I can’t wait to hear ETID’s new album! #everytimeidie #JBWW #ETID
Hey #SanDiego, I’m new here. Come hang out and let’s get better acquainted. Art and Music - don’t sleep. #acidjive #travelersclub #5andadime
I had to shave my face for this @everytimeidie show tonight. It would’ve got burned off anyways with all the facemelting that’s going to take place. #ETID #etidiot #sorryfortheselfie
If you dont already know, this Saturday is our second event that we will be throwing with The Travelers Club and @5andadime #sandiego
Charlie Countryman (Review) -
Did Sam Witwicky save the world again? Wrong movie? Well, read this and see what Zach thought about Charlie Countryman.
Shia Labeouf’s latest film, Charlie Countryman, is one of my favorites of the year. See why I liked it over on the 5&A Dime blog. Use the link above, and as always, thanks for your time!
So for their 10yr Anniversary The Hundreds had a big party in the Tomorrow Land section of Disneyland. It was a fun night, but this was the highlight for me : I had the chance to meet Mike Shinoda, the emcee/guitar player/keyboard player/producer for Linkin Park. I’ve been listening to LP since I was 10 or 11yrs old and they’re still one of my favorite bands. Mike’s music, writing and art have been a part of my life for 10+ years and each time the band has dropped an album it’s seemed to have been at some junction in my life where the new music fit perfectly. I’m forever a Linkin Park fan, and stoked that my favorite brand is part of the reason I got to meet him. I’m also forever grateful for my boss/friend Jay, co-owner of 5&A Dime, for giving me the opportunity to go. This wouldn’t have happened without him and his sister Darcie giving me a job and welcoming me into the 5D family. It was a night I’ll never forget. Mike was a nice, chill, funny, genuine guy - even after I kind of interrupted him and his wife’s photo taking (sorry, haha). His wife Anna was also kind and I appreciate her taking the picture. It was humbling to not only meet someone I really look up to, but also to realize that they can still be genuine people even at that level of success. I was (and still am) stoked. // @m_shinoda @annashinoda @bobbyhundreds @5andadime #thehundredsxdisney #thehundreds #linkinpark
